Echo Generation 2 Launches Day One on Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass members have a new day one release to look forward to today. Echo Generation 2 officially launches on May 27, 2026 at 07.00 PT / 10.00 ET / 15.00 GMT.
Since this is a day one addition, Echo Generation 2 is only available via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Players who haven’t subscribed can still check out the demo, which is currently available on Xbox and Steam.
Today’s Game Pass update also includes The Outer Worlds Spacer Select Edition joining the catalogue, and unlike Echo Generation 2, this edition will also be available to Premium tier members.
After today, there are only two confirmed first day launches for this month namely Crashout Crew and Kabuto Park. Unless of course Microsoft adds a surprise title. Hopefully so!
Taking place before the events of the first game, Echo Generation 2 follows Jack as what starts as a family vacation slowly turns into something much stranger involving hidden experiments, alternate realities, and a growing conspiracy. The game combines turn-based combat with a deck-building system, allowing players to form teams of six playable characters who each have their own abilities, playstyles and upgrade paths.
Combat revolves around a position-breaking system that rewards timing and strategy, while the story switches between multiple perspectives and settings ranging from noir-inspired horror to neon cyberpunk environments. The voxel-style visuals and synth-based soundtrack also return, maintaining the retro sci-fi feel the series is known for.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google.
