The Long Road from Aspyr to Sabre
The journey to reorganize this has been anything but smooth. It started in aspirantbut reports in late 2025 suggest that control has been handed over to Saber Interactive. This shift occurred following internal concerns regarding the direction and pace of the project.
Adding complexity, Lucasfilm Games vice President Douglas Reilly previously hinted that a remake of the sequel, KOTOR II: The Lords of the Sithhas also been discussed under the codename “Juliet.”
However, for now, the main focus remains on getting the first chapter right for modern machines.
