The time has come. Finally. After years of waiting for facts and weeks -a week waiting for updates, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will no longer be part of COD HQ starting tomorrow.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II & III leaving COD HQ

In an official announcement posted by Call of Duty in X, both Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III will be an independent download, separate from the launcher of the HQ Call of Duty, starting July 29 at 9 am PT / 6 afternoon Cest. This means that the players no longer need through COD HQ to access both games after the update is aired.

As part of this change, the players need to re -load MW2 and MW3 in their new Mandiri format because the shift from COD HQ requires a new installation. Also part of this announcement is that inheritance content related to MW2 and MW3 will be deleted from COD HQ on August 7.
