Xbox Game Pass scored its first day of launch today with Keeper. Starting today, it’s available to Ultimate and PC Game Pass members

An atmospheric puzzle adventure game will launch today with graphics that are truly eye-pleasing. Double Fine and Xbox Game Studio are proud to present Keeper, a game about a long-forgotten lighthouse and a seabird on their moving journey across the real world.

Unclear? That was part of the plan because the developers wanted the game to unfold in full mystery, only to be seen by those taking part.

Keeper Joins Xbox Game Pass on Day One

Keeper, from the makers of Psychonauts 2, officially launches today, October 17, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Xbox for PC. It’s also one of the first day additions to Xbox Game Pass this month. So Ultimate and PC members can experience this enchanting game at no additional cost today. This game supports Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox cloud gaming.

Preloading has started, so if you want to get busy this Friday night, download now and play as soon as it opens at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST. The game is about 25GB on console.
